Blue and white are the first colours that come to mind when describing Brian and Barbara Robbins' garden. Which is not to say that it's lacking an abundance of green and other sizzling colours as well. But blue and white define the steeply sloping flanks of the sprawling property above Waihi Beach, Bay of Plenty, transporting it to another hemisphere and another sunbaked landscape. "We've spent time travelling around places like Greece and when we built the house we wanted to capture that sort of feel for our home," says Brian.
