With the construction industry showing healthy signs of a strong recovery, we are shortly going to be faced with a new problem - a shortage of qualified engineering and construction specialists to replace those that fell away during the recession; who will need to handle the increasing number of large scale projects being mooted. Alongside the construction skills which these specialists are expected to bring to the party, they are also going to need some grounding in Building Information Modeling, which, thanks to Government initiatives and the numerous benefits that BIM workflow brings to the construction industry, is set to become a principal driving force in all major construction projects.
