A new family of polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes with eight triethoxysilane arms (APTPOSS) has been successfully anchored on the surface of Fe3O4 nanomagnetics and characterized by infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction spectroscopy, scanning electron microscope, Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, dynamic light scattering and vibrating sample magnetometer.
