摘要

The computer code APOLLO 1 was developed for calculation of reactor lattices. But it can be also applied to estimate the neutron multiplication factor values in homogenised nuclear fuel systems, for example, in spent nuclear fuel casks. The results of calculation of the multiplication factor for RBMK reactor spent fuel dry storage casks CASTOR and CONSTOR in dependence of fuel burn-up and water concentrations are presented. Maximum values are given, when storage casks are filled with fresh nuclear fuel. When fuel burn-up increases, the values of the multiplication factor decrease. There exists the amount of water at which the maximum k{sub}(inf) is obtained. It depends on the system structure.
