Due to the widespread occurrence of fungal contamination in foodstuff and feeds, many eff orts have been made towards the development of rapid and sensitive methods for mycotoxin detection. Early detection of mycotoxins contamination is essential to reduce health risks to humans and animals that might consume contaminated feeds.
