Let (M, g) be an n-dimensional closed Riemannian manifold with the Ricci curvature bounded from below. In the present paper we get the lower bound of the first eigenvalue of the p-Laplace operator, which generalizes the results of Lichnerowicz and Yang Hong-cang.
