Powered by real-time data capturing technologies, e-mails can now be part of an automatic reporting mechanism for conveying predictive and feedback reports for shipping logistics. For years, AGC, a Hong Kong garment manufacturer, has been relying on its US garment quotas as a major business advantage with its US buyers. With the phasing out of US Quota in 2005, AGC is now tentative about losing its holds on the Buyers. In establishing a new business advantage, AGC went on-line to share PO specific WIP data with its buyers for developing buyer specific shipping logistical services.
