As the spread between North Sea benchmark Brent and itsAmerican counterpart, West Texas Intermediate (WTI),widens to record levels, U.S. Midwest refiners are delayingmaintenance projects to realize high refining margins. On theflip side of that spread, underwhelming European refinerymargins are driving run cuts by operators across the regionplagued by weak refined product demand.
