CME Group, the world’s leading and most diverse deriva-tives marketplace, announced on December 7 that it willdiscuss with oil market participants the development of anew NYMEX listed Gulf Coast crude oil futures contract atthe ECHO Terminal. That storage facility is under develop-ment by Enterprise Products Partners L.P. and will be fedby the Seaway crude oil pipeline which is in the process ofbeing reversed.
