摘要

Let A(com) denote the class of aperiodic monoids with commuting idempotents. It is shown that any subvariety of A(com) that satisfies the identity x(2)yx approximate to xyx(2) is Cross if and only if it excludes the almost Cross varieties J(1), J(2), L. Consequently, these three almost Cross varieties are unique among all subvarieties A(com) of that satisfy the identity x(2)yx approximate to xyx(2). On the other hand, the existence of A(com) almost Cross subvarieties of different from J(1), J(2), and L is also established.
