The Federal Govern-ment of Nigeria has proposed to ban importation of rice which is stipulated to take off tentatively by the end of this year 2005. Nigerians can start now to prepare grounds to take over the market as soon as the policy takes off. IT may not be easy for Nigerians but banning of those items that can be produced in the country is one the ways to come out of economic problems.
