摘要

Self-assembled fullerene additives at minor weight fractions (similar to 1 wt%) are shown to improve the specific capacity of activated carbon electrode based supercapacitors significantly, while simultaneously increasing the maximum power density. The integrated approach developed in this work demonstrates the feasibility of using high performance composite carbon electrodes in electrochemical energy storage.
