Sir, Gastrointestinal ulcers in Behget's disease (BD) patients commonly develop in the terminal ileum, caecum and ascending colon [1] and are occasionally complicated by perforation [1, 2] or bleeding [3]. We herein report a BD patient with a carotid-oesophageal fistula that was thought to have originated from an oesophageal ulcer and that presented with massive haematemesis.
