摘要

A computer teaching complex constitutes a collection of specialized teaching classes and laboratories consisting of test benches for physical modeling of the basic technological processes and of modern computer equipment. This equipment includes programmable logic controllers, computers, and a set of control and measurement devices along with other automation elements, combined into a unified local computer network of an instruction process. Such a complex has now been created on the base of the Department of Computer-based Information and Control Systems for Automation and the Educational and Scientific Center of the Division of Computer Technology and Automation Tools at the Moscow State Institute of Steel and Alloys (Technological University). The complex is equipped with benches for modeling practically all the basic technological processes. As an example, there are benches for modeling heating of different resistance furnaces, some of which possess high time lag and others, low time lag. In the former case the benches are used to model large industrial furnaces, and in the latter case, for small furnaces or furnaces with low time response. In addition to the actual furnaces, the benches include temperature measurement sensors (different brands of thermocouples and thermistors), alarm and interlocking sensors, etc., actuators for measurement of the power fed to the furnace, and controllers for management of the heating process. Devices for modeling different disturbances (isolated, pulse, steady-state, deterministic, complex, etc.) in the operation of the furnace are also present.
