摘要

We revealed specific features of optimal control for through induction heating of large scale discontinuous bodies and solved the problem of optimal control for their heating. By discontinuous bodies, objects of induction heating we mean compound or formed bodies that have contact thermal resistances in the direction of the largest value of the temperature gradient. Among these bodies are, for example, rolls of metal sheet, bundles of standardized metal, some types of machining attachments (including those that provide isothermal die forging under conditions of superplasticity or production of parts made of polymer composite materials) and also assemblies and units of machines and mechanisms.
