We analyze the features in the application of the Hawthorne formula for calculation of the flow angles at the turbine cascade outlet. We propose a modification of the calculation technique, the efficiency of which is confirmed by the experimental data obtained with the use of a large-scale model of blade passages and also by the previously known results.
