The International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers (IISRP) will honor two of its outstanding leaders at its next Annual General Meeting in May. Dr. Yoshi-nori Yoshida of JSR Corporation will be the recipient of the prestigious General Award, and Dr. Claude Janin, retired from Michelin, will receive the coveted Technical Award. Yoshida is being recognized for his distinguished career at JSR, his contribution to the Japanese synthetic rubber industry and his influence in the Asian regions. Janin received his Ph.D. from the Institute de Catalyse a Lyon, France, where he focused his research on the polymerization and the properties of the ladder polyphenylsiloxane.
