The piping requirements in this Section are applicable to piping for applications other than for installation on vessels to be built in accordance with the ABS Rules for Building and Classing Steel Vessels (SVR), the ABS Rules for Building and Offshore Support Vessels (OSV), and the ABS Rules for Building and Classing High-Speed Naval Craft (HSNC). For piping for installation on vessels to be built in accordance with the ABS Rules for Building and Classing Steel Vessels (SVR), the ABS Rules for Building and Offshore Support Vessels (OSV), or the ABS Rules for Building and Classing High-Speed Naval Craft (HSNC), see Section 2-4-4.
