Physicochemical properties of ZrO2/TiO2 binary oxides

摘要

Binary ZrO2/TiO2 oxides with different Zr/Ti weight ratios of I : 9, 2 : 8, 3 : 7, and 4 : 6 were prepared by the wet impregnation method. The samples were calcined over a range of temperatures, and their physicochemical properties were characterized by BET surface measurements, XRD, TOF SIMS, and TPR. Following calcination at 700 degrees C and above, the crystalline phase of ZrTiO4 was formed; this was confirmed by the BET, XRD, and TOF SIMS experiments. The series of TPR for the binary oxides depends greatly the on Zr/Ti ratio and calcination temperature.
