摘要

Fertility preservation for young patients treated with chemotherapy or radiotherapy is a constant concern. Semen freezing is a validated technique, easy to perform by all post-pubertal men able to ejaculate. Nevertheless, medical oncologists encounter difficulty to talk about this issue with adolescents and their families. That has been the background for the redaction of an information book titled "Le CECOS c'est quoi ?", which has been written with teenagers and doctors. This book has been printed and disseminated in the French paediatric oncology centres with the support of the "Ligue nationale contre le cancer". Here is reported the result of a satisfaction survey performed in the oncology centres in order to estimate the level of knowledge about the existence of this book and its accuracy. The results of these two studies are positive and oncologist and teenagers agree about the convenience of this tool.
