摘要

Methods for processing and interpretation of the seismic records obtained with two types of ocean bottom seismographs-instruments with analog magnetic tape recording and modern pop-up instruments with digital data storage in solid memory (FLASH cards)-are described.The long-term experience of deep seismic sounding operations with moored analog bottom seismographs in various regions of the World Ocean allowed us to develop a rational technique for computer-based processing and interpretation of bottom seismograph records aimed at the study of the structure and physical properties of the earth's crust and upper mantle.This technique was essentially improved and developed for processing of the records of pop-up digital bottom seismographs for deep seismic sounding purposes.
