Studies carried out in the Kem' River estuary during the cruises of R/V Ekolog in 2001-2003 revealed some particular features in the bottom topography,the distribution of the bottom sediments,and the dynamical conditions of the differentiation and accumulation of the sedimentary sequence in the three estuarine zones distinguished.
