The reasons for this are so that: the fruit & vegetable industry better understands its workforce and training needs and is able to better articulate these needs; we have the best possible information available to make decisions regarding training provision; the industry is in a better position to work with the Hort Industry Training Organisation and education and training providers to get the best out of training for the fruit and vegetable sector; and we have the most accurate tool available for advocacy with Government regarding training delivery mechanisms and funding.
