摘要

Rice varieties, Tapaswini and IR 36 with fairly high level of resistance to Sogatella furcifera (Horvath) effectively arrested the deltamethrin induced population growth of Sfurcifera. Imidacloprid was identified as highly selective and registered favorable prey-predator ratios. Combined interaction of host plant resistance, predation by spiders and Cyrtorhinus lividipennis, supplemented with imidacloprid sprays effectively suppressed the S.furcifera population and increased the grain yield.
