摘要

A field experiment conducted on a deep black soil at the Agriculture Research Station, Sirguppa, Bellary showed that scented rice, Pusa Basmati 1, responded significantly to the application of N : P_2O_5 : K_2O @ 150 : 75 : 75 kg ha~(-1) with increased total dry matter production, number of panicles m~(-2), filled grains panicle~(-1), grain yield and total N uptake. Application of vermicompost @ 5 t ha~(-1) had significant influence on all the above characters. Plant growth regulator triacontanol at500 ml ha~(-1) significantly increased the total dry matter production, grain yield as well as total nitrogen uptake.
