摘要

The field experiments on scented rice revealed that varieties Pusa Basmati 1 and IET 13548 recorded significantly higher grain yield than Taroari Basmati. Graded levels of nitrogen increased grain yield linearly upto 90 kg ha~(-1), while irrigation schedules did not influence grain yield significantly. Pusa Basmati 1 recorded higher values of grain quality parameters than IET 13548 and Taroari Basmati. Graded levels of nitrogen did not show any specific trend for grain quality-parameters. Continuoussubmergence schedule of irrigation recorded higher head rice recovery, while cyclic submergence recorded higher value of kernel length after cooking.
