摘要

The unperturbed dimension i.e.r.m.s.end-to-end distance(r_o),radius of gyration(s_o),excluded volume factor(Z) and statistical paramenter(b) have been evaluated in binary mixture of Dextran of three different molecular weights in six different solvents i.e.distilled water,1(N)NaOH,1(N) KOH,6(M) Urea,2(M)Glycine and 50% glucose at temperatures ranging from 25degC to 50degC.The study reveals that the r.m.s.end-to-end distance (r_o) is the least in case of water and the maximum for glucose and r_o increases with increase in molecular weight.The radiums of gyraton also shows the same trend as that shown by (r_o).With increase in molecular weight the excluded volume factor(Z) increases but 'Z'shows no difinite trend with the variation in temperature.The statistical parameter 'b' is the least in case of water and maximum for glucose.With the increase in temperature.Statistical parmeter decreases fro five polar solvents but exhibit some deviation in case of the solvent glucose.
