The UK government is pushing ahead with its plans to reduce the burden health and safety regulations place on business, on 25 April a key bill cutting employers’ liability for injuries and death of workers was granted the royal assent. This is one of several developments linked to the Lofstedt review of UK healthy and safety which reported to the government in 28 November 2011.~1
