held their Annual Seminar and SME Tabletop Exhibition at Cranfield University, on 9 April. This summary from the many interesting presentations is highly condensed due to new space limits, from a report by Jeff Gould. The event was entitled: Advances in Materials, Design and Manufacturing for Advanced Composites. It comprised 10 presentations with 15 SME's exhibiting their products and services, the exhibition being kindly sponsored by Formaplex Ltd. Up to 100 delegates attended, with coffee breaks and lunch kindly sponsored by Exova and J R Technology Ltd. Thanks to Trevor Cook, David Carlton and Andrew Mills for organising the event and to Cranfield University for hosting. Brief descriptions follow.
