摘要

The US, lepresented by the American Seed Trade Association (ASIA), is among some 70 member countries of the International Seed Federation (ISF), which will meet for its annual Congress in Berlin, Germany, May 24-26. The ISF states that it serves as an"international forum where issues of interest to the world seed industry are discussed." During the Congress, the ISF's crop sections (Cereal, Herbage, Industrial Crops, Maize & Sorghum, and Vegetable & Ornamental) will meet. To gain insight into what will be discussed in these meetings and how the US seed industry can be affected, S&C talked with the ASTA representatives to these sections.
