Paradigm Flow Solutions (Aberdeen, Scotland) launched a product in March to remove blockages caused by corrosion and marine growth in aging water deluge systems. The product, Deluge Preservation, uses a brush system deployed at the deluge nozzles and moves through the internal pipework. Paradigm said the brushes can navigate through bends and difficult areas, and then the system descales and polishes the pipes. Debris is then|lushed and captured for analysis and disposal, and the pipes are treated with a corrosion and scale inhibitor to prevent buildup.
