摘要

Annealing temperature is found to significantly affect the superelasticity of nickel titanium (NiTi) shape memory alloy. Especially, the plateau strain of the forward stress-induced transformation increases with increasing annealing temperature, being 9 percent for specimens annealed at 600 deg C. The transformation characteristics of the material is also sensitive to annealing treatment.
