In july 2002,the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV)Lab at MIT Sea Grant,in cooperation with Pise University,Italy,JOINED THE Tuscan Archaeology Department for an expedition in the Mediterranean Sea aboard Italian naval research vessels.The goals of the expedition were of find new underwater archelogical sites.
