ATLAS Hydrographic GmbH (Bremen,Germany) recently announced that the company has received its first orders for two of its new hull-mounted Parasound DS-3 parametric multi-beam sub-bottom profiling and bathymet-ric surveying systems.The system provides bottom penetration in excess of 200 meters while sampling data at up to 50-kilohertz frequency,at depths down to 11,000 meters.
