SF Marina (Gloucester, Virginia) announced in September that testing results confirmed the predicted wave attenuation of its SF Type 600 concrete floating breakwater performs. The Water and Environmental Engineering Research Group at the University of La Coruna in Galicia, Spain, carried out a total of 52 tests on the breakwater.
