The disesed cashew seedlings used as rootstocks significantly reduced the numbers of successful grafts as compared to control. A progressive decline in the number of successful grafts was observed with the increase in the disease severity of rootstocks. The grafts registered a significant decrease in the elongation of graft and mean leaf area over control as a consequence of diseased rootstock irrespective of the extent of disease severity.
