One-day cashew training programme/ Field day was held at Agricultural Research Station, Ullal on 4-2-2004 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Agricultural Research Station, Ullal. Sri. Tharanatha Shetty, Chairman, Karnataka Cashew Development Corporation inaugurated the programme. In his inaugural address he stressed that more importance should be given for cashew crop as it is good foreign exchange earner, gives better returns with less cost and less risk to the farmers.
