Hydrex (Antwerp,Belgium) recently replaced three seals in the stern tube seal assembly of a 259-meter container ship that had developed an oil leak.In order to conduct stern tube seal repairs,it is essential to have dry surroundings.Normally,it is necessary to take the vessel into dry dock,but Hydrex flexible mobile mini-dry dock (mobdock) technology allows these repairs to be done underwater.
