Veripos(Aberdeen,Scotland)has extended the South American sector of its global differential global positioning system(DGPS)service with the establishment of new facilities in Peru serving offshore users in the Pacific Ocean region.The facilities comprise two land-based reference stations at the coastal cities of Chiclayo and Lima,providing rapid update rates and low data latency,with correction data relayed via Inmarsat satellites.
