Tritech International Ltd. (Aberdeen, Scotland) announced a partnership agreement this fall with Xipower (Stirling, Scotland). The focus of the Tritech-Xipower partnership will be to develop a range of lithium polymer subsea battery packs for a wide range of applications, including deepwater power supplies, said the company. This collaborative technology will be able to address the industry's needs by offering a technology that is lighter, more compact, more powerful and more efficient than conventional means, they continued.
