The Sub Committee-II of the Department Related Parliament Standing Committee on Commerece visited Trivandrum, Kollam, Alleppey and Cochin from 20.02.2008 to 22.02.2008 under the leadership of Shri Kashiram Rana. The other members were Shri Nikhilananda Sar, Shri Banwari Lai Kanchhal and Shri Thennala G. Balakrishna Pilla. The Subcommittee was accompanied by Shri Surinder Kumar Watts Director and Secretory to the Committee Mrs. Indira Chaturvedi Vaidya Committee Officer Shri Lahiri, Dy. Secretary andShri D.K. Verma, Under Secretary, The Sub-Committee visited Kollam on 20th February 2008. A meeting was arranged in Kollam with the Sub Committee and cashew community.
