The trade and logistics industry that started out as a movement to procure essential commodities from regions blessed with abundance has now qrown and developed widely across the globe In it, initial years, the industry was restricted to sea and roadHowever, today it has expanded to cover rail and air, and even ventured into express deliveries.Trade and logistics companies deal in bulk. They transport cargo in massive quntities and daily deal in transactions, worth millions. While the industry has come a long way to ensure secunty during transit there still exit incidents of damage pilferage and fires, which spell enormous losses for companies. To shield themselves from the possible losses that come with transportation, companies have been securing themselves with cargo insurance.
