The prestigious British magazine The Economist has declared that all is well with executive pay. In a special supplement, while conceding that numerous companies have been guilty of excesses, the magazine declared that "the diatribe against executives is mistaken" and, what's more, that over the past 15 years or so "the lion's share of the executives' bonanza was deserved."
