Dated flowstone from the underwaterpassages in Keld Head indicates that thecave was partially air-filled before the mainadvance of ice during the last Ice Age. Anew survey of the cave is presented, colourcoded to show these airspaces. The valleysubsequently became blocked by a glacialmoraine, raising the water level in thecave.
