摘要

Mulu 2010 was an expedition of a different sort. The regular biennial expedition to the Gunung Mulu National Park, Sarawak, Malaysia has, for over a decade, focussed on exploration in and around the northern end of Gunung Api. The 2010 expedition returned to the roots of the original 1978 Royal Geographical Society expedition in the Southern Hills; the primary aim was to offer support to the National Park staff with the development of their new visitor centre on the banks of the Melinau river. The small seven person team led by Tim Allen and Matt Kirby visited for four weeks during the very hot, humid and wet month of May.
