JoeScan designed the JS-20DL dual-laser profiling scanner for snapshot scanning on carriages and short infeed primary and secondary breakdown centers. With a Surround Scan configuration, a JS-20DL scanning system provides accurate shape data on both the front and back surfaces of the log. The addition of back-side scan data provides an opportunity to achieve a significant uplift over front-side only scanning.
