Compared with standard wood/bark hogs, Jeffrey EZ Access Wood/Bark Hogs are proving to be easier to maintain and safer to access during routine or unscheduled maintenance. The reason is Jeffrey's exclusive EZ Access technology. Jeffrey's EZ Access hogs allow the housing to be opened "as easily as opening a door." This prevents personnel from having to attempt repairs while "hanging" from the top of a feed chute or conveyor system, or entering the hog. Now operators can access and/or remove hammers, rotor and liners quickly and safely—without removing the feed chute—thus minimizing downtime and reducing costly accidents.
