In recent years, a rapid technology progress in blast furnace ironmaking has been achieved in China. Both the production capacity and the output have been growing sharply. In this paper, some production indexes and technology development in blast furnace ironmaking in China are reviewed briefly and the strategy development of a new process for pulverized coal injection and the technology of long campaign are introduced and discussed in details.
