摘要

The Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Awards were instituted by Bureau of Indian Standards in 1991 with the approval of Government of India. The awards presentation ceremony for the year 2001 was organized at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on 17 December 2002. Chief guest, Shri Sharad Yadav, Hon'ble Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and President of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) gave away the awards and commendation certificates. Shri V. Sreenivasa Prasad, Hon'ble Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, and Vice President, BIS presided over the ceremony. Shri S. Bandopadhyay, Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India also graced the function.
