The 38~(th) Meeting of ISO DEVCO held on 13-14 September 2004 at Geneva, Switzerland was attended by an Indian delegation comprising of Shri Nirmal Singh, DG, BIS; Smt. Parminder Bajaj, Sc. F & H (IR&TISD), BIS; Dr Sarita Nagpal, Principal Counsellor, Gil institute of Quality. ISO Committee for Developing Country Matters is an ISO Policy Committee which deals with developing country matters and focuses on increasing participation of developing countries in international standardization activities. Over seventy percent of the 146 ISO member body participation comprises of developing countries.
